New EVSE Testing Capability for 2023

The Fluke 1663 Multifunction Tester’s firmware has been updated to support 6mA RDC-DD tests in accordance with international standards IEC 60964 and IEC 62752. Together with Fluke’s FEV300 Test Adapter, this new ability enables comprehensive, accurate, and reliable testing of electric vehicle supply equipment (EVSE). It allows you to conduct all necessary tests in one go and meet the evolving needs of the EVSE market. (EV Adapters sold separately)

On top of this new function, you can also expect all of the typical measurements you'll need such as voltage (AC/DC), frequency, wiring polarity, insulation resistance, loop/line resistance, prospective earth fault current (PEFC/IK), prospective short-circuit current (PSC/IK) and several RCD measurement modes such as RCD tyip time, ramp test (RCD trip current) and more.
